Newton High School Performing Arts Departments will present the Lerner and Lowe classic  BRIGADOON this weekend, Friday Feb 16th, and Saturday Feb 17 at 7:30 PM and Sunday Feb 18th at 2:00 PM.   Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students.

Brigadoon
BRIGADOON tells the story of a small Scottish Village that appears for a single day every 100 years. Two travelers wander upon the town on this very day and one falls in love with Fiona, a single lass in the town.  It is a story that shows that true love can make anything happen. (And a perfect story for the week of Valentines!)  Come out and support the NHS students and a few special guest performers that are USD Staff!

Harvey County Emergency Management has shared the following information on severe weather with the community. Typically, severe weather season begins in the spring in Kansas, but it can occur at any time. Take time to prepare and plan for severe weather with your family.

If a tornado warning occurs during the hours that your student is in school, he/she will remain at school until the all-clear signal has been announced by radio or TV. Regular tornado drills are scheduled and students are instructed by their teachers as to the safest location in school.
