USD 373 Latchkey Mission Statement:

Latchkey is a school-based program that strives for building social skills, character, and  knowledge through play, structured activities, homework time, and interaction with peers in a safe, fun, and educational environment.

Important information for parents to know

·      Latchkey offers a variety of activities:  exercise, homework time, reading, games, crafts and free time.

·     All enrollment forms and fees must be filled out completely before your child may attend the program.

·     Our behavior plan follows closely to that of the school district.  Please read our hand outs so that you are familiar with the rules. At any time, please contact a Latchkey supervisor if you have any questions.

Latchkey Enrollment Forms: Please print all forms, complete, and return to your school or the Latchkey office at Sunset Elementary, along with applicable enrollment fee of $10/child, $20 maximum/family. Incomplete forms, or forms submitted without the applicable enrollment fee will be returned to the parent/guardian and the student may not attend until they are completed.

2016-17 All-Day Latchkey Schedule: Latchkey will be offered from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM at Sunset Elementary School, 619 Boyd during most school breaks and teacher in-service days. Sign up sheets will be located at each Latchley site. A minimum number of 15 students must be signed up in order for All-Day Latchkey to be held.
