Enrollment

Registration Process

► New Families

New-to-the-district families* should enroll their pre-k through 12 grade student using the New Family Online Registration Portal.

Before April 1, 2021 new families may only register through the new family portal for the current (2020-2021) school year. After April 1, options to register for either school year will be available in the portal.

For assistance, please contact one of our schools for enrollment information. To locate the closest school to your home address, please view our boundary map.

One Stop Enrollment for New Families is July 27 - One Stop, One Payment, All New Students Enrolled at once!

*Families who have not previously enrolled a student for Pre-K through 12th grade in Newton Schools are considered new. If families have not had a student enrolled at anytime in the prior school year, they are considered new.

► Existing/Returning families

Returning families can access the enrollment application online through their Parent Portal anytime during the enrollment period (opening soon for 2021-2022 school year).

Parents of returning students who need to enroll a new student for any grade level can follow the instructions available in the online application process to add their new student.

For assistance with accessing your portal, please contact your student’s school or visit the Infinite Campus Portal page for more information.

Remote Learning

Due to requirements from the state a remote-only option for all students will not be available for the 2021-2022 school year.  Guidance from health professionals for the safety of our students and staff during the school year will still be followed.

The Railer Academy (virtual school alternative) for high school students will continue in some form next year but please note that this is not the same as the remote option students had access to this year.  Contact the high school if you have any questions.

Grade Cards

All PreK-12th  progress reports are available through the student and parent portal in Infinite Campus. Parents without online access may request a printed copy from their student's school.
